OUR GUEST ON SEX
Effie Mantzouranis is a fantastic guest on SEX.
Effie is a trained dancer, who wants to push the status quo. She dives into how fusing somatic theory and movement to sensually empower and liberate femme bodies.
Effie centers support for the sexually abused and the underrepresented who desire to dismantle limiting beliefs they carry about their bodies, sexuality and pleasure so that each person may redefine safety on their own terms; and move towards self-acceptance, intimacy, and radical sexual sovereignty.
Effie strongly believes that dance is a form of like medicine in that it has the power to heal us from the inside out. She encourages all people to connect with their body through movement to reclaim and redefine pleasure, safety, and sovereignty. She is also accepting new clients now. Check out her website below.
“I was watching women in my class not just learn how to dance better. They were healing stories that were limiting them in their lives. As they became more confident in their movement, they were also releasing limiting narratives that they had learned to embody over time.” – Effie Mantzouranis
