It’s been a primary focus in my work, and my life, for the past decade or so, to encourage myself and others to show up as our authentic selves in the world.
There are all sorts of reasons why we don’t – from early conditioning to fears for our safety.
It’s not uncommon for women (and non-binary, femme-presenting folks) to lose touch with who we are. We’re often encouraged to take on other’s people’s ideas of who we should be, what we should value, how we should work, what we should love.
Sometimes I think my whole life so far has been a process of reclaiming who and what I really am and giving myself permission to be that.

No apologies for who you are, no dimming your shine.
It’s a place to share and play and grow together.
Post a meme, a funny photo or video of YOU, your passions, questions or concerns. This lounge is cozy and comfy for all the feels and shares of kindness.
In the lounge, we always respect one another and lift one another other up because we are not in competition with each other, we are building something together.
The LBI Lounge is unlike any other space online. We are safe within the digital arms of one another!
So, when you join us Backstage, settle into the Ladyboss Lounge by sharing a recent win, ask for help, or just share your current mood.
If you have tools and resources that you find helpful in navigating the day to day of life, this is your place to share, and if you don’t see a topic we need to address, you can mention it in our group chat.
